League News

Congratulations to the Rolling Pins 50 years in the league  with 2 original players

still playing Tony Peart ( 2nd. left front) and Pete (Speedy) Regan

(4th. left front row) Nigel Grinnell (48.5 years) back right

and Fred Allen (48 years) front right.

Sadly Tony passed away 3 June 2014 R.I.P.  Great friend

Speedy and Tony with their certificates

and engraved glassware from the League

and their team.

Just after celebrating 50 years with the

Rolling Pins Tony Peart  has passed away suddenly.

Tony was known to many in the Premier division and many

of us have lost a great friend R.I.P.

Another 50 year player is the well known

Fred Cheshire who plays for the Fox and Hounds

.

Have you any photographs like the one above, please

send me a copy for the 'Those were the days' page.

If you have a player or players that have played for your

team for 50 years, then  why not contact League Secretary

Charmian Sheppard for details on making a special

presentation to them.

The Doves - Cheltenham Ladies Skittles team 1935.
